ఈ యడవి దాగిపోనా
ఎట్లైనా
నిచటన ే యాగిపోనా?

గల గలని వీచు చిరుగాలిలో కెరటమై
జల జలని పారు సెలపాటలో తేటనై
ఈ యడవి దాగిపోనా
ఎట్లైనా
నిచటన ే యాగిపోనా?
పగడాల చిగురాకు తెరచాటు తేటినై
పరువంపు విరిచేడె చిన్నారి సిగ్గునై
ఈ యడవి దాగిపోనా

తరు లెక్కి యల నీలి గిరినెక్కి మెలమెల్ల
చద లెక్కి జలదంపు నీలంపు నిగ్గునై
ఈ యడవి దాగిపోనా

ఆకలా దాహమా చింతలా వంతలా
ఈ కరణి వెర్రినై యేకతమా తిరుగాడ

i liked this poem of devula palli krishna shasthri
individuality is melting into universality
flow of heart free, innocent,
it takes me to another world
i want to read this again and again and flow along with the poet like a stream, fly like a bird , or stay like a tree, fully happy and in the company of the nature around

my translation

Why not i be 

a leaf among the leaves?
a branch among the branches?
or a tender twig?
and get lost hidden in this forest?
somehow,
why not i stop here and be forever

Why not i be
 a ripple in the gently singing little breeze?
a  flow as just water in the gurgling stream?
and get lost hidden in this forest?
somehow,
why not i stop here and be forever?

Why not i be
hiding behind the screen of sprouting tiny gem like leaves
a blushing blossoming little girl
and get lost hidden in this forest?
somehow,
why not i stop here and be forever?

Why not i be
climbing up the trees, and the blue mountain  beyond, slowly trampling
on the worm clusters, or be the sheen of the bluish cloud ?
and get lost hidden in this forest?
somehow,
why not i stop here and be here?

Why not i be
Unmindful of hunger or thirst, worries or woes
a lunatic wandering alone like this?
